FR: dimming the colors of inactive pane (Marta and Preference editor)

Glad the project is alive! ;)
This is a follow-up to this closed issue. I'm testing Marta Version 0.8.2 EAP 1 (0.8.50) and still think there should be a way to visually accent the active pane (in addition to cursor line). The best way which comes to mind is dimming the colors of inactive pane to number of percents (specified in preferences).
Here is an example: inactive iTerm2 pane colors dimmed by 40%:
And here is Marta. Can you guess the active pane?
The same issue relates to the preferences editor. For example, can you guess which editor pane is currently active?
(I'm not a collaborator, so I could not reopen the closed issue (there is no Reopen with comment button available), so I'm posting this like a new issue).
BTW, there is no cursor line if the folder is empty and Up dir is disabled in Preferences:
