Feature: Tagging in Addition to Folder Sync

welchste opened this issue · comments

Sorry I did not see a place for feature requests or ideas.
But in the settings, in addition to choosing a Folder to sync, it would be really helpful to sync based off of Tags in a given note/file.

There is the yaml frontmatter connie-publish: true that will publish it.

Will that solve your use case or do you have a use case that requires tags?

Seems it needs more, keeps failing. Maybe I have to manually create a page ID in it too?
This makes it more difficult that just putting it in the designated folder.

Using tags would be a quick way to send specific files to confluence without having to mess up their organization on the local PC.

No worries. I will look at adding tags as a way to find which files to add :)

You shouldn't need to add the page Id the page id is there so you can move the pages once you upload them and it will still update them as long as they are in the same site.

Really appreciate the work you're doing and just throwing out a suggestion I think others would find helpful too, to make this add on even more useful. I don't expect you to work on this, but just to consider this on your roadmap if you're working on that part of the script.
