Error: cannot find "prismic"on type "Query"

did everything according to readme AND followed all steps given as a solution for this problem, including copying the same data as the prist prismic repository found here :https://prist.prismic.io/api/v2/documents/search?ref=XWaq0REAACYA7oKt#format=html
the problem still exists
