How to get the stylesheet via the API?

Is there a way to get the CSS via API? Preferable with option "Best Support" and "Modern Browsers"
I browsed the API code, and also don't find anything for that. I'd really like to see this added as a feature.
Sorry to bump this, but did this ever get implemented, it'd be pretty nice to have? (couldn't see it in the docs)
We can of course create a PR for it, which I might actually be tempted to do and put it into our build pipelines.
