Can I add a new custom event on a custom page with MagePal GTM for M2 ?

Your module works fine for main events.
I want to create a new custom event for action button on custom page.
Tell me please, could I expand your module to achieve my goal or maybe it's bad idea?
If this is possible, please in what way?
