app::andorCtrl is mishandling ROI setup

can cause rtimv to crash, among other things. Probably related: ---- shows up in ROI gui boxes even thought it shouldn't.
Have observed these issues in picamCtrl (camsci1/2) as well. The main symptoms of this are due to a bug in roiGUI, fixed by 455558.
rtimv crashes likely due to poor memory mutexing in rtimv. Not due to andorCtrl.
