Selected "(GMT-05:00) EST" as zone, but dates displayed with "EDT"

I chose "(GMT-05:00) EST" (also tried "(GMT-05:00) EST5EDT") and I expected the dates to show as EST (since it is now winter, and it's EST here). But it shows as EDT, which is not correct for this time of the year. For those of us that are under "Daylight Savings Time" it is EST now, and won't be EDT until summer. Ideally, it would show EST in winter and EDT in summer, if the correct zone is selected. The trick, and problem I had initially, is how select "I'm in EST using Daylight Savings Time". Many interfaces have a checkbox for "DST" in addition to selecting the zone. With a single dropdown, I figured the 'EST5EDT' was the correct choice, but it seems to operate the same as the 'EST' - both are wrong in showing EDT right now.
Are you using the latest version, 1.1.3? There was a bug with the DST time zone display in versions <1.1.2.
cr@p. I was told it was 1.1.3. I just went in and looked for my self and it says 1.1.1. argh! My apologies. I need to go chat with my sys admin.
