Support for x86
GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue · comments
Purpose of this feature:
Support MSC terminal on x86 devices.
How should the feature be integrated:
Both MSC Smartcard Service and MSC Plugin Terminal contain compiled libraries
(.so files) for ARM. These should also be generated for x86.
Use case for having this feature implemented:
Using MSC terminal on an x86 device, such as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
PS. I have a Gelaxy Tab 3 device to test on, if needed.

The MSC_SmartCardService-3_1_0 contains an libmsc.so for x86 (experimental).
Please give it a try as I don't have an x86 device to test - thx

Thanks! I will make sure it is tested this week and post the results here.

The x86 binary works perfectly on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (Intel Atom Z2560).
I tested connecting to the card, unlocking by PIN, and several custom APDUs in
unlocked state. No issues at all.
Thanks a lot!
