1.0 release / mainlining @next – so types can be updated

Hey @lukeed, hope you’re well.
Would you be up for making @next the main branch and/or releasing a version 1.0? (Assuming at this point that @next has been thoroughly tested. It’s what’s powering Kitten and I’ve had no Polka-related issues for a while now.)
The reason I ask is because I have a need to use the type definitions and DefinitelyTyped, quite rightly, only has types for the current main branch/release version (https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped/tree/master/types/polka).
Scratch that, just saw @next contains its own types file. Closing.
