[Feature Request] Visual indication when GIF recording starts/stops

In TFE we can start recording as a GIF using the Alt-F2 shortcut, and stop recording with the same shortcut. Right now, there's no visual indication of when recording starts or stops, so if we have butterfingers and don't press the shortcut correctly, it's easy to lose track of whether the engine is actually recording.

Some sort of visual indication would be very helpful here. This could be a tiny icon in one corner of the screen (ideally the icon itself wouldn't be included in the recording), or some temporary effect such as flashing the screen (again, ideally this effect itself wouldn't be recorded).
