Failure when cloning an empty repository

The repostitory that seems to cause this fail is emptry and never really had a repo to begin with!
By creating a project, choosing blank project, unchecking initilize repo with readme.
Causes this exception where you have a project, but not a repo which indeed has no git info which fails in the end!
