Great article! I'm also adopting 1, 2, 3, and 5 for my articles. I don't optimizes for SEO so that's probably something I can learn to improve my blogs.

I can relate to you on point 5. When I look at my backlog of ideas, the longer an idea is in my backlog, the less interested I am in writing it so I often just write the fresh ideas that I'm excited about.
