Close vista sidebar without resizing other split panels

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I often to toggle Vista on and off.
On is for getting help from Vista; and off is to save space due to small screen.
When I toggle-off Vista, my split panels will be resized. then I need to take time to resize them again.
Describe the solution you'd like
Is it possible to toggle-off Vista without resize my panels like what vim did when I close one of split panels ?
It will save time if Vista doesn't resize my split panels while toggle-off
close this due to it's an option about vim:
set noequalalways
