Hiding the Login Password

If you don't know what I mean by hiding password, basically instead of seeing stars or dots to represent the password characters, I want it to stay blank, and not even show that. People watching me don't know how long my password is.
This is because I connect my laptop to an interactive white board and everything that I write becomes public.
that is a decent idea as an option, not a deafult
