Notes
Building on the literature review, we want to iterate to an essay which sets out the "why the second renaissance" framing
Some general points
- +ve framing
- familiar (yet different)
- fits the time between worlds
- want a name for the ecosystem/movement
- some other names are concepts e.g. metacrisis, polycrisis, metamodern (to some extent). these are key ideas in the ecosystem but don't really define the ecosystem per se.
- other names describe end state / vision e.g. metamodern, eco civ, regenerative etc. prefer to describe process/ecosystem rather than the end state (end state is less known, more contentious, probably more diverse/emergent)
- double meaning of period and ecosystem/movement is nice
