How To add new widgets

Hello,
i found this config files with an intersting music widget (that says it works with clementine) and a keybinding-lookup-widget: https://github.com/travka/awesome_config-1#music-supports-mpd-cmus-clementine-spotify-at-the-same-time
My question now is where do i have to put the code from that repo (even if i'm not shure i fully understand but i'm willing to go for an try&error process ;)
as far as i understood the widgets are in lain or could ad them somewhere else?

If you want a simple Clementine widget, you can use or adapt one of my recipes.
If you want that widget in particular, maybe @actionless can help you turn it into a standalone module.
