Lc0 beat SF decisively at two tournaments

Both CCC and TCEC have witnessed SF biting the dust of Lc0. I believe Asmfish is the last resort of classic engines against NN engines. If only SF developers can realize that and crack the hard nut of Asm language!
Sorry to say - asm adds 20-25% speed - at best that is 12 to 13 Elo. It’s an incredible amount of work for relatively little Elo gain. It’s not really sustainable. I do appreciate the herculean efforts to make it happen , but with the coming dominatation by NN like engines - I certainly sympathize with them taking a pass here.
@MichaelB7 Reasonable. The Asmfish+NN project seems more exciting, which make full use of the CPU and GPU. But I really doubt whether it will have its day before Quantum Computers making all these stuff a joke …
