Private Key Sweeping From Paper Wallet QRs

I'm planning on selling and giving away a significant amount of paper wallets at a festival this summer. There is very poor cell service at the location and it's a week long, so I think paper wallets (btc and Ðoge) will become a major form of currency. Giving new shibes the wallets with a simple instruction of "open it up when you get home, download Dogecoin Wallet and scan the QR code" will be orders of magnitude simpler than the current state of things. I see that sweeping has been in the works for a while, just hoping it gets implemented before June 2014 :)

That depends mostly on a third party providing me with an API server side. To sweep a wallet you need to know its balance (specific: the unspent tx outputs). As the Android wallet doesn't hold the blockchain locally, a server needs to tell me that. I've been in contact with dogechain.info as trusted partner for that, but I think the 1.6 fork stuff has priority as of now. I'll bug them with it after that is sorted. If that's set, June should be possible :)
