In order to use git-dude in KDE environments you need to install colibri package, just for your information.

I have checked on Ubuntu 11.10 and it works fine with notify-send. Also on Fedora 15 it works out of the box on KDE with notify-send.

I'm using kubuntu 11.04 (without any gnome software) and I need to install collibri to fill the gap between libnotify and knotify4. I don't know if KDE people have planed this integration in newer versions.

I've added kdialog support (#6), no need for notify-send/colibri ;)
