Tone Mapper Bug

Describe the bug
Tone mapper is producing two light vertical lines, about 1/4 and 2/3 across the image. The is on a Canon 5D MKIV with an EF 300mm F2.8L IS lens. Oddly the metadata exposure is listed at 1/2000 but an F2.7 aperture, even though it's an F2.8 lens.

I start with an original image and click on Tone Mapper. The vertical lines appear but faint. I start adjusting the settings, where I notice the gamma setting displays the biggest change. If I change the gamma to a dark 6.62, the lines become very noticeable. If I change the gamma to a light 0.23 settings, the lines disappear altogether. Setting the detail way down can also eliminate the lines.

I don't know if it's the default setting causing the problem or something else. I notice it on multiple images. I have included screenshots.
