[ci-cd] Ensure the repo follows working a CI/CD process

Since we now have a distinct repo for the app we will need to re-evaluate the way we will hanvle CI/CD for:
- Conintuously running unit tests on PRs
- Continuously running e2e tests on PRs
- Pushing new images after PRs
- Ensuring the manifests for the app are up to date
