The maintainer hasn't responded to neither PRs nor Issues for more than six months.
Yet the project is still asking for donations

We need to know if this repo is going to be maintained so that we know whether it's worth sponsoring this project or if we should fork it and continue ourselves.
From what I can tell it looks like he only actively maintains FuseJS which I assume is the original project and not this Swift version. So I'd say fork the Swift version if you want to and do it yourself or try out the JS version that is actively maintained.
It's been over a month and still no response from the repo owner. No response on any other issue or PR. At this stage it's safe to assume that THIS REPO IS ABANDONWARE

Yep, July 2021 and this repo still looks abandoned.
