We have had 5 employees in the past few weeks get the same issue when attempting to use Vysor on a Chromebook.
Chrome 122.0.6261.137 -- No update is available at the time of the issue when we choose check for updates.
After powerwashing = 123.0.6312.94
Android 8.1.0 on the device we are attempting to connect to.
Connection Error
Error Connecting to Android Device Error: Vysor was unable to access the Android USB device. Vysor may be mirroring this Android device in another tab, or the native ADB server is running on your desktop. Downloading the Vysor desktop application is recommended.
We have attempted to:
- Clear Cookies and Cache for All Time
- We have Reset permission for Vysor on the browser page.
- Turn off all Chrome Extensions
- Power cycle the Android Device and Chromebook
- Hard reset the Chromebook
- Final item we try and the issue is resolved = Powerwash the Chromebook
This was not an issue previously. We have not found a way to intentionally reproduce the error.
Does anyone know what can be cleared on the Chromebook so we don't need to powerwash it?
