Enabling external video player disables auto-download

Steps to reproduce
- Enable external video player
- Receive video
Expected behaviour
As the note in the settings says, auto-play should be disabled when the external-player-option is enabled, but it should still download the videos if auto media download is enabled.
Actual behaviour
Enabling external player disables not just auto-play but also auto-download.

I never managed to find a way make it work with auto-download, so it's unlikely to be fixed
