Updating to Angular 14 - Peer dependencies cannot resolve

I'm trying to upgrade my app to Angular 14 and found the following issue when installing this library.
npm ERR! code ERESOLVE
npm ERR! ERESOLVE unable to resolve dependency tree
npm ERR!
npm ERR! While resolving: my-app@1.2.3

npm ERR! Fix the upstream dependency conflict, or retry
npm ERR! this command with --force, or --legacy-peer-deps
npm ERR! to accept an incorrect (and potentially broken) dependency resolution.

is an update for Angular 14 support planned for this lib?

I know it is not the best solution, however, I have just used "--legacy-peer-deps".
