Hi everyone.

Is it possible to use the 7.css library with B00merang-Project?

What do you all think of this idea?

Hi khang-nd, thank you for feedback.

Probably. Idk, I don't use Linux 🤷‍♂️

I was asking your permission for something I'm creating. Please, see this Design suggestions

So... I'm trying to improve a windows 7 gtk theme on linux. I'm thinking to enhance windows 7 gtk theme design based on 7.css library

Yea sure, I assigned an MIT license, so you can use it however you like.

Hi khang-nd, thank you for feedback... but...

Yea sure, I assigned an MIT license, so you can use it however you like.

Please, see this: github/B00merang-Project/Windows-7

1. The problem

Gtk windows 7 theme is GPL 3, and the 7.css library is MIT....

1.1 img 1: Gtk windows 7 theme is GPL 3

1.2 img 2: 7.css library is MIT...

image-description: As we can see in the image, each project opened with a different license.

2. question/feedback

  • So... would there be any license incompatibility issues between two open projects? GPL vs MIT?
  • would there be a problem using MIT in the gtk windows 7 theme?
  • How could I resolve this?

I'm no license expert, but apparently, the license compatibility is ok, as you are trying to use an MIT-licensed project in a GPL one, not the other way around.
