Screenbloom not changing color with No Man's Sky

GlennVanSchil opened this issue · comments

Issue:
Whenever I start No Man's Sky while running Screenbloom it keeps the last seen color before opening No Man's Sky. If I (re)boot Screenbloom when No Man's Sky is running It does take the color from No Man's Sky but it stays the same. When I quit No Man's Sky It seems to work again. I also tried a different game (Ark) with the same setup and this works as well.

Setup:

  • Screen bloom v2.2 with default settings
    afbeelding

  • Steam Link

  • Hue Go

  • A single monitor

  • Windows 10

Attempted Solutions:

  • Starting big picture mode in windowed mode
  • Exiting Steam's big picture mode
  • Putting No Mans Sky in both bordeless and windowed mode
  • Using both zones and no zones
  • Using a different Game and Netflix through the Steam Link (this does work)
  • Rebooting Screenbloom (does take the first color seen from No Man's Sky, but doesn't change)
  • Using less or different Hue lights

Since I've seen this work on both youtube and your readme page I guess I'm doing something wrong here but I have no clue how to fix it

Oke I got this to work and found the issue. When I start No Man's Sky from my Steam link it starts in fullscreen/borderless mode (even though my settings say windowed) so I have to start it from my desktop, go to my steam link and connect to the running instance of No Man's Sky (this happens by default). Hope I can help some people with this who are using a Steam link
