A question about the maxSCDist parameter

Thanks a lot for developing such a useful tool to detect viral integration. While I am using the SurVirus, I find there is a parameter named maxSCDist which is set to 10 by default. I read the original paper and try to google what that parameter means, but I get nothing helpful. Can you explain what the parameter means and how it affects the sensibility and accuracy of the algorithm?
