Angular2 is in beta and according to core team ready for development. Please support angular2.
This package isn't actively maintained at the moment, but it's pretty lightweight --- figuring out how to compile Angular 2 assets shouldn't be difficult. :) I wish you the best of luck, and we might approach this in the future.
