Zephyr build instructions

It would be nice to have some Zephyr build instructions for newbies.
I bought the artificial nose project partly as a way to learn zephyr and I was hoping to see some kind of build instructions but there aren't any.
I installed zephyr project and the sdk and I can run the sample projects Blinky and button on the Wio terminal.
However, I have no idea how to build this project even after hours of reading the zephyr docs.
