[Request] Option to auto skip missing windows

InMirrors opened this issue · comments

A command line option to auto restore missing windows is available currently, but there is no option to auto skip missing windows. Could you please add an option to do so?

The feature is already on by default several releases ago.

I'm confused - isn't the default action to prompt?

I also tried the patch you provided. It automatically skips missing windows when holding both Ctrl and Shift keys, but not when selecting a capture by holding Ctrl. Using Alt to determine whether to auto skip missing windows could be a good solution.

Alt key will make menu disappear.
For most users, I think it is easier to just press the "No to All" button once to skip all missing windows, rather than taking the effort to remember ctrl-shift combination.

Pressing the button once is OK. I need to press the button every time when I restore windows from disk in the current version.

If you constantly restore from disk, and yet do not want to restore missing windows, it would be better to use snapshot capture/restore instead.
