Maybe a combination of the lambda symbol and a 120deg triangle. Should work well as single color.
I went ultra minimal. It's like Haskell's logo but streamlined for the JavaScript masses.

@jussi-kalliokoski cool. I could do your markdown-styles site if you want and see if the logo works in situ? I'm really getting into functional programming atm and your library caught my eye. I think making the docs look as swish as possible could help the nervous JavaScripters give it a try!
