Is dev blogging a thing?

- You blog about dev blogging, the number of devs who realize the power of blogging may be small, and the number who persists is even lower. Then who are your audiences?
From a ten thousand feet, we want to focus on isoteric topic that interests myself only, but we want to get the eyeballs right away (marketing), so it is a self-contradictory thing.
The approach I tried: Try to market my blog post to relevant community. Once I post, the writing has to be sincere, and want to solve the problem. In other words, I want to be real contribution, a real problem solver. And I would learn the most from doing so.
