cannot create Logcat

Heya, this is still my go to blocking app for doing exactly what I need and nothing more.

I tried adding an extended list and need to whitelist some entries to not break app-functionality.

Trying to tap the "create logcat"-button to find the entries to whitelist yields "Not supported: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failure from system"
My System is an A12 LOS 19.1 derivitive without root. Is this expected behavior?
