No error/feedback when pasting in unparsable JS into online demo

I'd left out the 1st word 'function' when pasting in some JS, and there was no error on screen to indicate it was having difficulty passing. I paste in some JS on the left. Nothing happened. Only after visiting http://js2coffee.thomaskalka.de and trying there did i see there was a syntax error.
