DNASkittle is a web based genome browser that provides an interactive visualization of the raw sequence. Every nucleotide of 10Kbp can fit on one screen at a time. It makes heavy use of signal processing techniques to extract tandem repeats, and other genome elements.

User up/down voting on each note

When viewing a note made by a user there are up/down vote buttons. These actually reflect on the user, not the annotation. (It's really more important to judge someone's usefulness as an annotator). Users can gain popularity and be added 'Popular' circle #177 .
