Should this repo also install common packages?

When setting up a new machine, it's useful to go ahead and install common packages (VS Code, Chrome, 1Password, Docker, etc..). Should this repo install all of these as part of the setup process, or should it only be concerned with the 'dotfiles' aka config?
Since I'm the only user, I suppose it doesn't really matter.
Maybe the installation can install ansible, then call a set of ansible tasks/playbook to finish the installation of the needed applications.
