The data of our study were extracted from a repository of online data (open data) where the homicides of the second half of the twentieth century in the California County are shown. This data set examines the relationship between homicide and ethnicity in California during the period 1950 -2000. All the records from the homicides, includes information time, place, location, and cause of the crime for all murder cases in seven California counties. The relationship between victim and accused, and the race, sex, age, and occupation of each are also provided.
