Editing (mostly) impossible in IE 10

In trying to use this demo between Chrome Canary and IE 10 (both on same Windows box), updates made in Chrome appear in IE 10, but when you try to enter the field in IE 10 it disappears.
It seems to work the first time you enter the editing area in IE, but then fails as soon as you make an update in Chrome. If you resize IE then it starts working again until you next update in Chrome.
Reproduceable on IE11 too.
