Finished events still show as upcoming

Describe the bug
Some events that have terminated still show as 'upcoming' for a specific period of time, after the event ends.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to the 'Events' page.
- If an event has ended within a specific time period (check after 2-3 hours of the event end date/time) the event is shown within the 'Upcoming' section.
Expected behavior
The event should be displayed under "Previous Events"
