Does xdelta have a specification somewhere?

Currently i'm doing a cmd line tool that would be much faster if i could extract the source crc32 (or similar checksum) from the xdelta patch file.
.bps has something like this in a footer at the end with the last 12 bytes being the source, target and patch crc32, anything like that for xdelta?
This is an old post, but I'm also looking for the specifications. I'm interested in making an xdelta-related utility.
A nice doc with the file layout word be nice.
