Following Field Manual, Chapter 2, a basic cryptanalysis package should include:

  • Uniliteral Frequency Counts and Histograms
  • Index of Coincidence and Monographic Phi Test (Roughness Measure)
  • Pre-Computed distributions and Expected Phi Test results for English & other languages
