Problem when resizing barcode in merge function / inclusion of GNU Barcode

First of all, I apologize because I am using Google Translator to write this message and I would like to congratulate the team that is developing this project.
In version 3.99-master561 when using the “merge” function, it is not possible to change the width of the barcode, only the height can be changed. Not even if you manually change it on the “position / size” tab.
I would also like to request, if possible, the inclusion of GNU Barcode, increasing support for coding standards.
