Happy Hacktoberfest 🎉 !
I have created this issue for developers thinking to contribute to the Semaphore project.
Semaphore allows you to create advanced and high performing data-flows and expose them through endpoints over multiple protocols such as HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
If you love open-source software and would love to contribute but don't know where to start, keep reading! The best place to start with any open-source project is by taking a look at the open issues and join the discussions. When you want to start working on a pull-request, please announce it inside the thread to avoid duplicate pull requests. I have also created a list of general topics that need attention and are a great place to start contributing.
General issues
- Documentation improvements improvements to the Semaphore documentation is greatly appriciated. Please do not make small pull requests with single changes.
- Improvements to test cases and coverage the progress on testing coverage is tracked over at Codecov. Any improvements to existing test cases or new test cases are more then welcome.
- Try to test and break the project feel free to help battle testing Semaphore. We are testing Semaphore extensively but bugs could always sneak into the project. It is greatly appriciated for new contributes to test Semaphore and submit bug reports or even submit pull requests to fix the reported bug(s).
