Folder permissions, guests can't view posts

Installed via .tar file like in the instructions.
Guests can't view posts... I checked the write_comments.php and noticed it was set to 600 chmod for the xml comments. Could that be a reason or something server side I would need to change?
Ok another one of my stupid mistakes (forgive me please).
I forgot to exclude hashover.php from the nginx php caching I had set up on my server.
