no connection using https

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open svnx
2. click on the entry in Repositories window (URL is
https://svn.phibred.com/mydir ## not accessiable to internet)
3. My Repository window shows up, but progress bar keep rolling, without
fetching data from the server.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect I will see a list of files/folder, but it seems that the connection
takes forever. I can connect to the server and see the files using command
line svn client.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OS X 10.6.3. svnX: 0.9.13. Subversion: v1.6.9 from open.collab.net
(pre-build binary).

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry, I really should have said that the connection is SLOW. It connects
eventually, but
just very slowly. It takes about 5-10 mins for the GUI client to connect to the
server.
The command line client connection is instant though.

I don't believe that 'the connection' can be any slower than using the svn tool
as svnX actually uses either the svn tool and/or the actual libs that the svn
tool uses.
What may take some time is that svnX initially fetches a log of the entire
repository.
However, (unless you switched it off in the svnX prefs) svnX caches the log so
subsequently
when you open the Repository window it just fetches any changes.
Is this what you are seeing?

Actually, you should try svnX 1.1. The above statements relate more to it than
0.9.13.
Also some functions are now up to ~10 times as fast. [See the release notes.]
