irc Flood disconnect

friend suggests to add a flood delay between messages to avoid flood disconnects from irc, or my idea -_- a reconnect on drop .
What IRC server disconnect your bot ?
The thing about reconnection is that the server could ban your user after few disconnects.

we actually can't pin down when the flood disconnect happens because is random , unless someone is sending a big msg from pm that we don't know about , but usually there is no big msg's being sent and it drops.
Sometimes it takes 1-3 days to drop sometimes a few hours
After last nights flood disconnect , the same restart I normally do by top kill discirc id , and then:
nohup discirc --config /home/xguy13/discirc/config.json &
is back to the problem I had at first , that only sends messages from discord to irc, nothing was touched on the files should I redo everything again ?
