ng-bootstrap modal integration

Came across ngx-tour when looking for an angular based interactive guide for users as they are onboarded to the platform.
I have successfully implemented the md-menu version of this npm package but ran into issues when I tried to add a step that had a tourAnchor listed in the of one of my ng bootstrap popup modals.
Is it possible to have an ng bootstrap modal popup when a tourAnchor is placed inside the selector for that modal? Thanks in advance for the help, if this can't be done with ngx-tour feel free to suggest other packages to check out
