Filename parameters somewhat broken in GUI?

If I run examples/tiny.ty in the GUI and open a Test Pattern window, I can use the FileImage pattern to see a picture of Ellen Arthur. However, if I want to see another picture, it doesn't currently open a file requestor -- I thought that we had been able to select one graphically, instead of typing it in? I must have imagined that.
Anyway, if I then type in the name of a different image, it correctly shows the new image. And if I type in the name of an image that does not exist, then I get an error at the bottom of the window, as expected. But if I then dismiss the error and put in the correct filename, it's stuck and always complains about the old, incorrect filename, even though the window clearly shows the correct filename. Something must be wrong with the error handling...
