`--coverage` flag is not used

Specifying the --coverage flag does not appear to have any effect. I would expect when providing the --coverage flag, the CLI would generate a coverage directory with the corresponding lcov.info file containing the coverage data. Seems like the flag was added but the value of the flag isn't being used internally.
